The Fountains at Sea Bluffs in Dana Point, California is an Assisted/Independent Living Facility for seniors looking for a luxury lifestyle. The Fountains is one of 25 senior housing facilities managed by Watermark Retirement Communities in Tucson, Arizona. In 1985, David Freshwater, Chairman, of Watermark, founded The Fountains and over the next two decades, he developed, owned and operated, for himself, for his investors and for third parties, a wide range of senior housing communities recognized as both innovative and successful. The Fountains grew into one of the nation’s top 25 senior housing owners and operators.

The Retirement Community Needed To Update Their Aging Hardware.

The Fountains had been working with an IT services company to update their hardware and IT system. However, they weren’t satisfied with the quality of work or the progress. They contacted Scott at On-Site Tech Support to take over the project. They requested that the entire refresh be completed within two days. So, after an initial assessment, Scott and his team “rolled up their sleeves” and got right to work.

They replaced all the aging workstations—22 in all! Plus they:

  • Added a server that ran VMware.
  • Installed two biometric time clocks.
  • Installed several proprietary software solutions and print drivers on each workstation.
  • Implemented an email system that was Exchange hosted by their Corporate (RDP over HTTPS), and configured in Outlook.

Thanks to the expertise and dedicated effort of Scott and the On-site team, the project was completed on time, and without any glitches.
