Retargeting is important because quite often, once a visitor consumes some of your informational content, they’ll leave your site without buying anything or getting in contact with you. In these situations, if you make no effort to retarget them, these visitors may never return.
Retargeting ads help remind your site visitors of your existence and value. If they click such an ad, they’ll be led to a transactional page on your site, which will ideally lead to a conversion.
