Accountability
When we’re talking accountability, we’re talking about doing the work that’s necessary to succeed. Of course you work at your MSP business—But are you working hard enough?
Start here: Where are you now, and where do you want to be? No dreaming allowed. Be realistic—You need to set goals and action items to meet these goals. The key? — Always follow through on your action items.
It helps to have people other than yourself to hold you accountable. Your clients will hold you accountable for sure. This is a “no-brainer.” But there’s more that you can do.
Get yourself an accountability partner or group.
Work with an accountability partner. Someone you trust who’s local, and who you can meet with regularly. Be sure it’s someone who’ll be hard on you (just like a physical trainer would be). A person who’ll be your toughest critic.
Form a group of business owners you trust, and pledge to hold one another accountable. Again, you must be able to meet regularly and share your action items.
If you’re looking for an accountability partner or group, contact Ulistic. This is just one of the services we provide.
What do I look for when hiring canvassers? It doesn’t matter how you go about this, but the person you hire must have a bubbly, infectious personality. Someone you feel like you will know for life. The best canvassers are typically college students who will work during their spring and summer breaks.
How do I “juggle all the balls in the air at the same time?” As the owner of your MSP, you must stop doing the tech work. Hire techs for $20 an hour and let them do the hands-on work. Spend your time growing your business.
What strategies should I look for when advertising on Facebook? Ulistic created an MSP Marketing Group where we post some of our webinars. You can do the same with businesses in your area. Build a community of friends and followers to form key relationships.
Facebook is the way to go right now. We suggest you put a big chunk of your marketing budget on Facebook Ads and Facebook Live. The more “friends” you have the better. If they aren’t interested in your services, one of their Facebook friends may be.
Remember, with social media marketing you have a direct contact with prospects. That one piece of content you put out there could be the thing that gets you a big client. Plus, Facebook posting is free!
If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, by all means, take advantage of other venues. However, when you do get people’s contact information, look them up on Facebook and invite them to your company Facebook page.
Don’t forget! Accountability is essential for the success of your MSP! Do the hard work! We can help. Contact Ulistic. We’re your MSP Marketing Experts.
